Chronological Month 4 – April 1st – 30th 2018
The details of our 2018 Easter services are below.
You are most welcome to join us for any or all of these.
May it be a most blessed time for you : )
March 29 – Maundy Thursday – A service of Holy Communion at 7.00pm with washing of feet.
March 30 – Good Friday – A service of Morning Prayer at 10am, with readings, hymns and meditation.
March 31st – Easter Saturday – A time of silent meditation, acknowledging the loss and sadness the first disciples experienced that first Easter Saturday. St. Luke’s will be open from 7.30-8.30pm for those who want to come in and participate in the silence. A guided meditation will be provided so all can take part, wherever we are on that day.
April 1 – Easter Day – We are experimenting with something new! We will hold a ‘sunrise’ service on Easter Sunday. This simple service starts at 7:30am and will last about 45 minutes.
(Please note, this is not a service of Holy Communion).
We then have breakfast before our main Easter celebration with Holy Communion which starts at our regular time of 10.00am.
Richard’s sermon on 11th February was on the end of Mark’s first chapter. No video but here are his sermon notes and the powerpoint he used…
