The details of our 2018 Easter services are below.

You are most welcome to join us for any or all of these.

May it be a most blessed time for you : )

March 29 – Maundy Thursday – A service of Holy Communion at 7.00pm with washing of feet.

March 30 – Good Friday – A service of Morning Prayer at 10am, with readings, hymns and meditation.

March 31st – Easter Saturday – A time of silent meditation, acknowledging the loss and sadness the first disciples experienced that first Easter Saturday. St. Luke’s will be open from 7.30-8.30pm for those who want to come in and participate in the silence. A guided meditation will be provided so all can take part, wherever we are on that day.

April 1 – Easter Day – We are experimenting with something new! We will hold a ‘sunrise’ service on Easter Sunday. This simple service starts at 7:30am and will last about 45 minutes.

(Please note, this is not a service of Holy Communion).

We then have breakfast before our main Easter celebration with Holy Communion which starts at our regular time of 10.00am.

It’s Messy Church – this Saturday!!! : )

It’s Messy Church – this Saturday!!! : )

We are very much looking forward to our next Messy Church, which is this Saturday at 4pm.

If you have never been before, Messy Church is for all ages and generations, as you can see from the picture.

From 4pm, we have a time of fun completing crafts that are relevant for the day’s theme.

After 45 minutes of that, we have a chat about the theme and then we eat!! : )

There is no cost for Messy Church and it is great fun! All are most welcome : )

Our Lent Course – Part four tomorrow – 22nd March – St Luke’s at 7pm

Our Lent Course – Part four tomorrow – 22nd March – St Luke’s at 7pm

How do we live as Jesus would, as intentional missional disciples, that make a difference for good in the world? This wonderful book is a real help!

Listing five key intentional aspects to our living,  Michael Frost provides great insight into how we can make a real difference.

Come along even if you have not read the book. Read the book even if you can’t come along.

The remaining dates for the Lent Course are Thursday Mar 22nd and finally Wednesday March 28th. We start at 7pm  : )

Richard’s sermon from Sunday 4th February 2018

We’ve had a bit of video trouble the past couple of weeks.

But some good news. We have the text and powerpoint that accompanied Richard’s sermon. You’ll find both of those below. The powerpoint is in pdf form.

We’re really getting into our stride with this series in Mark’s gospel, so we hope you receive as much from it as we do on Sunday mornings : )
