New preaching series on the book of Colossians

New preaching series on the book of Colossians

On January 13th we started a new Sunday morning series on the book of Colossians.

We love this letter of Paul to this young church at Colossae. As we will see, there are many things that Paul addresses that are relevant to us today.

We’ll put the notes, powerpoint and, if possible, the video of every sermon on line.

To get us started, here are the notes and powerpoint pdf from Andrea’s sermon on January 13th.

May God bless you richly through his Word

Getting to know God’s story and your part in it

Getting to know God’s story and your part in it

We love our God. Discovering God’s story of love to the world and our part in it is why we at St.Luke’s are reading the Bible through chronologically.

The Bible can be daunting sometimes. It isn’t like any other book. Reading it chronologically can help us get unstuck if we have become stuck. Even if we haven’t, reading the Bible chronologically helps us join the dots.

So we commend and encourage the chronological reading plan. The first month’s plan is below.

May God bless you richly as you dwell in God’s Word.

Messy Christmas!! December 8th at 4pm!! : )

Messy Christmas!! December 8th at 4pm!! : )

Tomorrow is the epic Christmas edition of Messy Church!

It’s Sat Dec 8, from 4 pm – 6 pm. We’ll have crafts, songs, and a full-participation version of the Christmas story.

After we’re done all that, we’ll share a delicious meal together. The Messy Kitchen Team will supply the meat, and if you are able to bring a small side dish or dessert, that would be great. (And if not, don’t worry.)

Messy Church runs from 4 PM to 6 PM and is open to all ages, at no charge. We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you!
