Its the second Saturday of the month! It’s Messy Church time!
We start at 4pm : )
"We are a church family seeking to grow as missional disciples, sharing God’s loving grace and truth in words and actions with our families, friends and communities."
Join us for the 2nd Annual St. Luke’s Family Lawn Dance!
We’ll be celebrating the last day of Canada’s 150th birthday with popcorn, lemonade and all kinds of foot-stomping fun!
Don’t like to dance? That’s OK! We’ll have lawn games too — or just come and hang out on a beautiful summer evening. If it rains, we’ll move the dance indoors.
Bring yourself and a lawn chair, if you have one. If not, just bring yourself! The Lawn Dance is free and all ages are welcome. We start at 7pm and finish at 9.30pm.
We are very much looking forward to our next Messy Church, which is this Saturday at 4pm.
If you have never been before, Messy Church is for all ages and generations, as you can see from the picture.
From 4pm, we have a time of fun completing crafts that are relevant for the day’s theme.
After 45 minutes of that, we have a chat about the theme and then we eat!! : )
There is no cost for Messy Church and it is great fun! All are most welcome : )
Get Messy with Moses! Join us for the May edition of Messy Church, where we’ll have crafts, stories and songs — all related to the Old Testament icon who brought us the Ten Commandments. And when we’re done, we’ll share a delicious meal together. Messy Church is Saturday, May 13 from 4 pm – 6 pm. See you there!
We had a great Christmas as a church family and we hope you did too : )
Our Christmas was made up of several events; our Bazaar, Messy Church, the services and a pageant too. Here are some pictures of just some of the fun we had : )
Christmas Cards being made at Messy Church
Anything can happen at Messy Church! ‘Donkey do’ being made!! It was icing and chocolate…rather yummy! : )
Brad and Richard as two of the wise men in the pageant. When Richard heard the wise men came from the East, he thought his England scarf was needed! Lol! : )
Anne, Kevin and Trisha doing their stuff – brilliantly! : ) Never seen one of the wise men playing a guitar in a pageant before…
The final scene – thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put this on : )
